Bucket of Birds is a working studio and gallery. Founded in 2014 by a husband and wife team, Bucket of Birds strives to spread knowledge about and the appreciation of decorative arts in the Richmond and Chestefield areas. It is our firm belief that a piece of artwork should be able to stand on its own, without a lengthy explanation as to its meaning and purpose. Long-standing traditions of decorative painting, focused largely on the natural world, have existed throughout the world for hundreds, if not thousands of years. It is our hope to draw upon these traditions in order to educate and inspire our patrons and guests.
